Meet the Robinsons meets Back to the Future in the design and development process of this video. The idea of time travel has allured many creative directors, musicians and artists since well, the beginning of time. It's captivating theory being expressed in many different forms of mediums. This video is my own unique twist on the theory of time travel in which live captured scenes of the ‘present’ real world meet the animated version of a future dimension. The video depicts the exhilarating feeling one imagines when entering time travel, through the exponential increase in speed shown as the car approaches what appears to be the beginning of the girl recording’s adventure through time. Throughout her adventure through time, the girl and her surroundings have all transformed into animated versions of the future and remain this way until the adventure comes to an end and the girl is sucked back to reality. For the ending of the video, I aimed to portray the endless loop of which the girl will live in by reversing the playback of the scene in the beginning.
